Gil’s response can be read at face value, as an indictment of its author, labelled as a “vicious anti-Semite” or as an attack[2] disguised as friendly commentary, on the “powerful positions” the American Jews have “in our media, our economy, our government”, positions used to silence Israel’s critics, like Philip Giraldi.
